Today, a user can avail himself/herself of Samsung for scanning QR code purposes through three methods available due to the device's built-in QR code scanner. Let's see them:

The easiest way to scan QR codes, even those that are generated using a QR code generator, is through the camera app.

To do this, follow:

  1. First, you would want to get that Camera app open; if you have a Samsung phone, you'd be able to use the Camera app. You can quickly tap the Camera icon on your home screen or on your app drawer.
  2. Position your phone to the right angle: Now, once you have launched the Camera application, position your phone at such an angle so that the camera of your cell phone will be able to face the QR code that you want to focus on. The complete QR code must be inside the viewfinder without being cut off or obstructed there.
  3. Wait for it to read the QR code: Once you have set the camera appropriately in the Camera app, then your phone will read out a QR code.
A pop-up message dealing with the QR code would appear on your computer screen, whether it was a website or some information.
  4. Tap the notification: If your phone can read the QR code, tap on the pop-up notification to access the information. This could be something such as a website URL or even a phone number, depending on what information has been encoded into the QR code.
  5. Action: Once you have scanned the QR code and after you've listened to what the information could be, you can then take an action relative to that information.
For example, placing a link from your website to your QR code will enable a visitor to open the site on the Samsung phone upon clicking the link.
