How to Scan a QR Code with a Samsung Device and Quick Tiles

One of the nice features in Samsung devices is Quick Tiles, which allows access to many of the most-used settings from the Quick Settings panel.

Access to this Quick Settings panel can be had by swiping from the top of the users' screen. The panel is so easy to set.

Some of the features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, screen brightness, and also the flashlight and camera.

1. Pull down from the top of the screen to open the Quick Settings panel.
2. First, find the "QR code scanner" button, referred to as "Quick Tiles.". If you can't find it, tap the three-dot menu icon on the right-hand side of the Quick Settings panel; that should add it to the list automatically.
3. You can tap into the tile you just selected through “Button Order” and drag "QR code scanner" to a viewable position.
4. As soon as that "QR code scanner" tile comes to appear, tap Scan QR code to open the scanner.
5. Allow access to the camera, if requested.
6. Now scan the QR code with your camera.
7. Wait for the QR code to be recognized. It is accomplished based on the message carried by the QR code.
